What makes us think that a one-track approach to people, or organisations, or projects will work?
We need the dynamic balance of one thing and its opposite or complement e.g. task and relationship, authority and care, listening and speaking, innovation and efficiency, male and female. We need both-and. We need one to wax when the other wanes, just like the power from the other pedal.
We need the Yin as well as the Yang, and vice versa.
