Respecting your personal information is very important to me. If you become a contact, for example, by joining my mailing list, I only hold the information I need to communicate with you effectively and efficiently and I never share that information with third parties other than the service providers I use. (If I was asked to share the information with public authorities as a matter of law, I would need to, of course, but that seems an unlikely scenario.)
I hold this information for the purposes of communicating with you about events I am running, products and services you may be interested in, and to share ideas and insights you may find helpful.
I use industry-standard service providers whose operations are expertly run. These service providers are Bluehost (web hosting), WordPress and Studiopress (website software), Aweber (email list management), Feedblitz (blog email), Eventbrite (event management), e-junkie (shopping cart), and Microsoft (file storage). Depending on how we interact, these service providers could be holding some of your details, primarily contact information, and most operate in the US.
Information I hold to support work we do together will be held securely in systems quite separate from the web-facing systems I use, such as this website.
If you wish to correspond about information I may hold about you, please email me.
